Month of May – We will be gathering donations to Lutheran Disaster Response and the ELCA World Hunger appeal. Envelopes are on the back table and in the pews. Please put your name on the envelopes and either LDR or WH on the memo line of your checks.

May 6th, 7th & 8th – 9am-2pm - Rummage Sale Donations Drop Off @ St. Paul’s Social Hall. *Volunteers are needed to take donations, help to set up, help at the sale, help pack up the sale and donate unsold items, and help to clean up. Please contact the Office, if you are able to volunteer, or signup on the bulletin board. Bakers are needed to bake for the sale. Please drop off your donations before noon on either Friday or Saturday.

May 10th & 11th – Rummage Sale, Bake Sale and “Hand Quilted” King Size Bed Quilt Raffle 9am-3pm CASH ONLY!!

May 21st at 12:30pm – 50+ Luncheon at the Waterfront Tavern, 6 US-11, Central Square. There will be carpooling from St. Paul’s, or meet at the Tavern. Please sign up on the bulletin board across from the Office.

Weekly Announcements - 3/24/24

Saturday 3/23/24: Bishop Grimes Jr/Sr High will hold its Annual Academic Games event. Blessings in a Backpack has been chosen as the charity to benefit from this event. The admission to the event is a food item that is included each week in the backpacks (soups, microwavable mac & cheese, Chef Boyardee, fruit & grain breakfast bars without nuts, etc.)

Sunday 3/24/24: - PLEASE JOIN US AT 10:00 AM FOR OUR PALM SUNDAY SERVICE AND CANTATA NAMED “WHO DO YOU SAY I AM?”

Month of March – We will be collecting for Church World Services (CWS) blankets. A $10 donation can be placed in “Blanket Envelopes” in the pews next to our sample blanket. If writing a check, put “Blanket Month” on the memo line. If paying with cash, please write your name on the envelope.

Month of March –Our SCS students’ Lenten project is to help supply the SPCA with items needed to care for the animals in their care. Please place your donations in the bin next to the check in table. Thank you!

EASTER SUNDAYLisa will be away and needs a volunteer to assist with running the slides. Please see her or contact the office. Thank you!

Saturday 4/13 from 4-6pm - Ham & Scalloped Potato Dinner (Fundraiser to support the Men of St. Paul’s); EAT IN or TAKE OUT! Cost $12/meal. Presale Tickets at www.stpaulsliverpool.org/news-events/ham-2024. Volunteers needed all day. Homemade desserts are also needed. Please sign up at the check-in table.

Month of April - is Pinwheels for Prevention, at the McMahon-Ryan Child Advocacy Center. Pinwheels costs $1.00 (funds are due by 3/31/24). Please put your dollars or a check in a plain envelope labeled “pinwheels” and put “pinwheels” on the memo line, if writing a check. If paying with cash, please write your name on the envelope. WELCA will be planting them at the beginning of April.

3/3/24 – Collections for Church World Services (CWS) blankets begins today. A $10 donation. can be placed in “Blanket Envelopes” located in the pews and on the display table next to our sample blanket. If writing a check, put “Blanket Month” on the memo line.

3/10/24 - Spring Ahead! Set your clocks ahead one hour.

3/16/24 – Spring Clean Up Day – please join the Men’s Group for a complimentary breakfast from 8am – 9am, followed by clean up projects from 9am – 11am.

Weekly Announcements - February 11, 2024

St. Paul’s Sunday School students will be holding a Souper Bowl Sunday Canned Soup Drive to support the local Food Bank, through February 11th . The container to collect soup cans will be available in the foyer for your convenience.

IMPORTANT REMINDER – Immediately following worship, we will stay in the sanctuary to vote on St. Paul’s 2024 Budget, followed by a brief Town Hall meeting to discuss the possibility of changing our hour of worship. Your vote and input are very important, so please plan to stay for both!

Christmas Food Baskets – See the bulletin board to sign up to donate a ham and/or turkey for the Food Baskets. See bulletin insert for suggested items, which you can put in the grocery cart across from the office. Monetary donations are also accepted. Please specify “Food Baskets” on your check’s memo line. The baskets will be packed on Sunday, December 17th, after the service.

Men of St. Paul’s Pancake Christmas Breakfast – December 3rd from 8:30 to 11am.  Breakfast features pancakes, bacon, sausage, coffee and juice.  There is no charge for the breakfast.

Meeting To develop St. Paul’s Ministry Site Profile - December 3rd at Noon in Dudde Hall.

The Christmas Giving Tree – will be going up in the foyer right after Thanksgiving. If you know of a family who can benefit from food or gifts, or both, please fill out the form in the bulletin and return it by 12/3 for gifts and 12/10 if food only, to the Office or Sandy McGillis.
