The Mission of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church
To follow Jesus, grow in faith, and feed people in body and spirit.
The Vision of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church
To become a welcoming community of faith like a willow tree: planted in Liverpool, rooted in Christ, and swayed by the Holy Spirit.
Our Core Values
Belonging: We will open ourselves and our hearts to everyone, accept and include them as belonging with us to God, each other, and God’s mission in the world.
Faithfulness: We will be faithful in worship and prayer, devoted to God’s Word, and seek to lead honest, trustworthy lives that reflect the faith and hope that is in us.
Growth: We will grow as individuals and as God’s people together; in faith in Christ, in love of God, and in love of others.
Kindness: We will think, speak, and act with patience, generosity, compassion, and kindness, for we are all children of God.
Joy: We will laugh, have fun, celebrate, and joyfully trust God’s goodness and promise of peace and salvation through Jesus.
Outreaching: As a tree spreads its branches, we will stretch and reach beyond ourselves to serve others and invite all people into a life of faith with us as disciples of Jesus.
Respect: We will be mindful of the needs of our whole community, hold all in honor and prayer, and respect the uniqueness of all God’s people.
